Rapid City Residents Asked to Rank Priorities

The City of Rapid City is asking resident to rank budget priorities. They will be sending out a detailed survey to randomly-selected residents with each of the City’s five wards receiving an equal number of mail-in surveys.  Mayor Steve Allender said they have already surveyed the city council and have those survey results. Now they will widen the scope to include the general public to comment on the city’s 7 core values……

Respondents will get virtual cash to spend….

Allender said they will send out 3 thousand surveys, and is hoping to have a better than adequate return…

The survey is being launched on November 14, deadline for completing survey is December 22….and can be accessed online at .rcgov.org
