The six remaining burros have reached a milestone on their road to recovery. The veterinarian has officially labeled them all stable, which increases their chances of overall survival. The next milestone will be having them complete their burn recovery treatment. Three of the burros are improving at a faster pace than the other three, so they will complete their treatment within the next two weeks.

Once treatment is completed, staff will formulate a plan to bring the burros back to the park, but they will need to remain in an enclosed facility until warmer temperatures become more consistent.
