A group wants to bring a Junior League Hockey team to Rapid City, and the request to sign an agreement with the League for use of the Roosevelt Park Ice Arena was passed through a Rapid City Council Committee this week.
Parks and Rec Director Jeff Biegler explained that this lease agreement is the first step….
Contract negotiations to use the facility would begin following approval of this item, and approval from the League to relocate the team from New York.

That item now goes to the regular council meeting on Monday.
