A U.S. military official has identified the sailor who shot three civilians at Pearl Harbor, killing two of them and himself. The official who spoke on condition of anonymity Thursday to provide details that had not been made public identified the 22-year-old sailor as G. Romero. Wednesday’s attack came days before thousands are scheduled to gather at the famed military base to mark the 78th anniversary of the Japanese bombing that launched the U.S. into World War II.  The commander of the Navy Region Hawaii says officials will evaluate whether security should be boosted before the annual ceremony.
