There’s pomp, history and a bit of presidential politics at play as the House sends two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate for trial. It’s all happening Wednesday, when the House votes and Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s team of seven prosecutors line up behind House officials and carry the articles to the Senate. There, the Senate will tend to some housekeeping matters to set up the chamber as a court of impeachment.  By week’s end, Chief Justice John Roberts and the senators will have taken their oaths. Arguments are expected to begin Tuesday.
