The Rapid City fire department was dispatched to The Rushmore Hotel Monday evening, with reports of a gas leak.
Witnesses reported they could smell gas in the air even outside of the building. The building was evacuated, and the source of the leak was found and secured.
Evacuations were lifted and no one was injured in the incident.
