The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Commission could finalize a plan that could have a serious impact on tourism along the Missouri River in central South Dakota. Lyssa Bruzelius is executive director of South Dakota Missouri River Tourism.

If the Commission decides to  finalize the proposal it could hit fishing guides and small town businesses very hard.

Bruzelius doesn’t know what the financial impact of increasing the license fee could mean for businesses along the river and across the state.

The Game, Fish and Parks Commission is meeting Thursday and Friday at Cadillac Jack’s Springhill Suites in Deadwood.
