The shooting suspect in the Rapid City shooting Nov. 4th has been identified as 35-year-old Charles Colhoff of Rapid City. Colhoff was located yesterday evening during a traffic stop and taken into custody. A loaded pistol was located under Colhoff’s seat. He was placed under arrest for Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Firearm by a Former Violent Offender, and his active warrants for Attempted Murder, Commission of a Felony with a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm with a Prior Felony Drug Conviction. He was transported to the Pennington County Jail, and detectives continue to investigate the shooting incident.
