Experience the 4th annual Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival this August! Parking & attendance to the balloon launches and night glow is FREE.
Balloon Launch at dawn (6 a.m., weather permitting) from the Hot Springs Airport both days
Balloon “Night Glow” at dusk (7:30 p.m., weather permitting) at the Hot Springs Airport on August 24th
Downtown activities will be taking place for all ages all day on Saturday!
Be a “Thrill-seeker”! Take a Hot Air Balloon Ride (must be booked in advance with Black Hills Balloons 605-673-2520) and/or a Glider Ride (book in advance with Black Hills Soaring Club 605-415-4079). And make sure to “soak-in” everything else that is going on this weekend in Historic Hot Springs!
Balloon Fest Walk (7 a.m. to 2 p.m.) – Sponsored and hosted by Black Hills Volkssport Association
Sidewalk Sales – Check out the crazy bargains from local merchants. (All day)
Walk-In Balloon – Experience a hot air balloon from the inside at the Mammoth Site (9 a.m. – 11 a.m.)
Free Kid Zone – At Centennial Park – Giant inflatables, games and fun, fun, FUN! (10a.m. – 4 p.m.)
Art Walk & Chalk – Enjoy and purchase artwork from local artists and make your own statement on downtown sidewalks (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
