Spring Fever 2017 Gardening Conference will be held in the Rushmore Room at Ramkota Hotel on March 4, from 8:00AM-4:00PM. This year’s conference features two presentations by Mary Ann Newcomer “Homestead Pioneer Plants for the 21st Century” and “Creating a Garden Tapestry”. Dr. Rhoda Burrows, SDSU Professor of Horticulture and Extension Specialist will present “Soil Biology and the Biology of Plant Roots.” Short “table talks” topics include: Growing and Using Herbs, Organic Gardening for the Home Gardener, Arranging Flowers from your Garden, and Growing Teamwork (Attracting Beneficial Insects) in your Garden.
