This guided snowshoe hike takes participants on a trail overlooking Game Lodge Campground.
The hike is two miles long and is geared toward the basics of snowshoeing on a trail rated easy.
It is considered an easy hike and for beginners. It should take approximately two hours.
Snowshoes are provided. If there is not enough snow accumulation on this day, a regular guided “boot” hike (without snowshoes) will still be held at 10:00 am. The hike will begin from the Peter Norbeck Outdoor Education Center.
NOTE: Reservations are required due to the limited amount of snowshoes and must be made by calling the park office at
