Alleged Clergy Abuse

Eight more cases have been added  to a  lawsuit against the Rapid City Catholic Diocese.

The cases involve former students at Saint Francis boarding school on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation.  Students claim the diocese knew school staff were physically and sexually abusing Indian children but ignored the problem.

While the diocese didn’t return phone calls, it said in a release that victims of abuse by church personnel should seek help.
