Tea Party Express Stops In Rapid City

Created: 11/2/2009 6:01:28 PM

The tea party express bus tour stopped in Rapid City Monday, where it was met by supporters who hope to make enough noise to reach leaders in Washington D.C.

Tea-party goers say they've had enough of the Obama Administration.  Tea-party leaders rallied South Dakotans to fight for what they say belongs to them.

"We need to get conservative values back in tow and then we need to get the leadership of this country to listen to what we want," Deborah Johns said.

Tea party supporters held signs, proudly waved their flags, and even sang along to a song poking fun at the recent bailouts.

Tea party leaders say their voices have been heard. They take credit for stalling the healthcare reform bill. The tea party bus tour plans to stop at 38 U.S. cities.
