South Dakota Flags At Half-Staff

Gov. Mike Rounds asks that all flags in South Dakota be flown at half staff until Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2009, from 8 a.m. until sunset in tribute to those who lost their lives in a mass shooting at Fort Hood, Texas. He said it was a tragedy.

The president on Friday ordered flags at the White House and federal agencies to be flown at half-staff until Veterans Day.
