Nine DUI Arrests Result From Friday Night Sobriety Checkpoint

Rapid City Police along with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office and the 911 Communications Center conducted a DUI checkpoint in Rapid City. 

The checkpoint was located at St. James Street and 5^th Street late Friday.

The results of the checkpoint were:

536  -  Cars checked in the checkpoint

9  -    Arrests made for Driving Under the Influence

1  -   Underage Consumption

2 -    Possession of Marijuana

1 -    Drug Paraphernalia

1 -    Driving Under Suspension

1 -    Ingesting
