Rapid City Police Lieutenant Tim Doyle has been recognized as one of 60 individuals nationwide to join the 2025 Bloomberg American Health Fellows program. This prestigious fellowship, awarded by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, highlights professionals working to address key public health issues.
Doyle joins a cohort of fellows tackling challenges in addiction and overdose prevention, adolescent health, environmental concerns, food systems for health, and violence reduction. His selection underscores the Rapid City Police Department’s commitment to advancing public health initiatives.
According to the Bloomberg School of Public Health, 50 fellows will receive full scholarships for a Master of Public Health degree, while 10 will pursue a Doctor of Public Health. This year’s fellows represent 59 organizations across the country, including the Burlington County Special Services School District, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency, and the Rapid City Police Department.
Doyle’s fellowship will provide opportunities for collaboration and research aimed at addressing critical health concerns in the community. His selection further highlights the role of law enforcement in promoting public health and safety.
