Rapid City is celebrating International Women in Engineering Day by recognizing the exceptional contributions of four women engineers in the city’s Engineering Division. With a combined 78 years of experience—53 of those with the city—Senior Engineers Morgan Falcone, Nicole Lecy, and Sara Odden, along with Project Engineering Design Manager Michelle Lashley, are leading the way in key infrastructure and development efforts.
Community Development Director Vicki Fisher praised their dedication, saying these women not only shape the city’s physical growth but also serve as powerful mentors and role models for young women pursuing careers in STEM fields.
Each of these professionals brings impressive credentials and years of service, reflecting both the depth of expertise and the growing impact of women in engineering across the region and beyond.
