A routine traffic stop for speeding early Friday morning resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of multiple illegal substances, according to the Summerset Police Department.
The officer conducting the stop observed indicators of criminal activity, prompting a search of the vehicle. Inside, authorities discovered and confiscated crack cocaine, methamphetamine, hallucinogenic mushrooms, and marijuana.
The occupants—identified as a 53-year-old man from Stanchfield, Minnesota, and a 34-year-old man from Los Angeles, California—were taken into custody on multiple felony drug charges. The department shared details of the incident in a social media update Friday afternoon.
The case remains under investigation.
