Elevate Rapid City hosted a business roundtable yesterday featuring Congressman Dusty Johnson, offering local leaders a chance to discuss key issues affecting the West River region and broader South Dakota.
Among the concerns raised was a perceived economic imbalance between the Black Hills and Sioux Falls, with one businessman urging for more equitable financial health across both regions.
The conversation also focused on strategies to foster meaningful growth in the Black Hills.
Johnson also highlighted the upcoming arrival of the B-21 bomber at Ellsworth Air Force Base, calling it “one of the greatest things to happen to South Dakota in the next 20 years.”
