Tuesday evening at approximately 10:05 p.m., Rapid City police responded to multiple reports of gunshots at 4332 Berniece Street. After interviewing witnesses and detaining several individuals, authorities identified 20-year-old Timothy Boresahole of Oglala as the suspect. According to police, Boresahole exited an apartment complex, fired a shotgun into the air multiple times, and returned inside before officers arrived. Police noted signs of alcohol impairment during their interaction with Boresahole. He was arrested for Reckless Discharge of a Firearm and Underage Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages and booked into Pennington County Jail. During the investigation, officers recovered the shotgun used in the incident and a pistol reported stolen from a vehicle burglary in June. The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to gather details about the incident.
