Ellsworth Air Force Base Played Role in U.S. Strikes on Iran

Ellsworth Air Force Base aircraft were involved in U.S. military strikes against Iran late Sunday, according to U.S. Central Command. B‑1 bombers launched from Ellsworth and carried out long‑range missions targeting Iranian ballistic missile infrastructure. Fox News reported the aircraft flew a nonstop 34‑hour sortie and deployed roughly 75,000 pounds of munitions. Military footage released with the announcement appeared to show crews preparing at Ellsworth.
