Rapid City police say a 20‑year‑old man accused of firing a gun near the Maplewood Townhomes complex is now in custody.
Officers detained Tanner Standing Bear of Rapid City following an investigation into gunshots reported around 11 a.m. Tuesday near Maple Avenue and Knollwood Drive.
Police say video from the area showed Standing Bear firing a handgun near 221 E. Knollwood Drive. No one was injured.
Standing Bear is currently on parole under the supervision of the South Dakota Department of Corrections.
