Before we dive into Tuesday Screencaps, I have to brag a little bit about the weather here in NW Ohio where it was 53 again this morning with crisp blue skies and birds chirping. I heard from several of you who are roasting in Texas, Louisiana and Florida. Would you trade your year-round weather for my weather?
“Probably not. Our typical fall, winter and spring is perfect down here. It’s just that couple of months in the dog days of summer down here that make you rethink your life choices,” Dan H. in Louisiana told me.
I get it. The same goes for here in Ohio when it’s March/April and it’s 51 degrees, raining and the wind is howling at 25 mph out of the east off Lake Erie. That’s worse than 20 degrees and bright sun in January.
Footage is beginning to surface from the LIV Indy event where Mikayla held Bryson’s arm as they walked off the course (for the last time on LIV?) and made their way into the offseason that could be one for the pageview record books. Do you have any idea how many headlines I can get out of these two?
A Wyndham Clark-Emily Tanner battle with DeChambeau-Demaiter this offseason is exactly what golf needs. Villains dating hot blondes has the traditional golf journalists seething while SeanJo, myself and Nightcaps legend Zach Dean sit back and just smile. We get what you guys want to see. The traditional golf journalists have no clue. We get how big of degenerates you are, just like we are.

I couldn’t have said it better. Go ahead and put it on my headstone. Nobody has battled for parents to take back their lives like I have. Communities are strong, healthy and desirable when the rec sports programs are top-notch, but it starts with all of us.
“With 6 kids, I spent years as a travel ball dad. Between baseball, softball, volleyball and soccer I’ve seen just about everything and spent a sh*t ton of money along the way,” Tod M., told me last week.
How much did he spend? Tod estimated the total to be $50k. Then, after consulting with his wife, the number changed. “The wife says I was way off. She says closer to 100k,” Tod added.
Would he have changed anything even with all the money spent and admitting that “watching the parents is more entertaining than the games.”
“Looking back, probably not. Despite it all, we made great memories as a family,” Tod concluded.

Kinsey: Here’s the line from the story that caught my attention and has me thinking that my hammering of Wendy’s finally made it to the C-suite. “We certainly have inconsistent operations. We have some areas that we can focus on there,” the CEO told the WSJ.
Dammit, Bob, it’s very simple: You get on the phone and tell these franchisee owners to get back to hiring grandmas to work the drive-thrus instead of ex-con meth addicts who became the face of this brand during COVID. I get that the food has slipped – it has – but dammit, if I walk in and it looks like Jed York’s kind of crowd, I’m out.

Feels weird to mow a different lawn, and yet I really enjoyed the familiarity of the mower underfoot. Then was treated to a gorgeous sunset to boot!I hope all is well in the Kinsey house and can’t wait to see what else is in store, especially with football just around the corner. There are readers who’ve been with me for 15 years, but Indy Daryl is in a special category. He has contributed topics that have turned into historic conversations, including his ‘Do Hard Things’ series.
I’ve very happy that Daryl has a new house, but he didn’t show me his home office. That’s a disappointment. Indy D. has always been a standup desk guy. I need to see how he transitioned his work area to the new house.
