RAPID CITY, S.D. — The Rapid City Police Department has identified a woman who was found dead earlier this week on Cambell Street.
According to police, Amanda Hart, 28, of Rapid City, was discovered unresponsive on the morning of Monday, July 20, at a car dealership located in the 1400 block of Cambell Street.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 6:30 a.m. following a report of an unresponsive woman. Upon arrival, officers determined Hart was deceased.
In an update released Wednesday, July 22, police said an autopsy had been completed. Investigators reported that the examination found no signs of trauma or other injuries that would have contributed to Hart’s death.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and are awaiting the results of toxicology testing to help determine the cause of death.
