RAPID CITY, S.D. — Police are investigating after a man was found deceased Sunday evening near the intersection of West Boulevard and Saint Charles Street.
At approximately 8 p.m. on Aug. 2, officers were dispatched to the area following a report of an unresponsive man lying in the grass. Upon arrival, police located the individual and determined he was deceased.
According to authorities, officers observed no signs of trauma or other evidence of foul play that would immediately explain the man’s death.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death. Police said the investigation remains active pending the results of the examination and any additional findings.
The man’s identity has not been released.
