ROCHFORD — The identities of a Sioux Falls woman who died and a Sioux Falls man that was injured in a single-vehicle crash west of Rochford on Saturday morning have been released.
According to preliminary information, the crash occurred at 11:03 a.m. on August 1, 2026, at the intersection of South Rochford Road and Seven Hills Road, about five miles west of Rochford.
Randall Lee Hillman, 72, of Sioux Falls, was driving a 2025 Can-Am Spyder RT on South Rochford Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled.
Hillman, who was wearing a helmet, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Rapid City hospital.
His passenger, Dawn Hillman, 67, of Sioux Falls, was also wearing a helmet but suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol said the investigation remains ongoing, and all information released at this time is preliminary.
