Pennington County is gearing up for a major transition this November as several county departments prepare to relocate to the new County Administration Building at 900 Concourse Drive. To help residents navigate the change, the county has unveiled a comprehensive online landing page at www.pennco.org/new-cab.
The new digital resource consolidates essential information to ensure a smooth transition for the public. Visitors to the site will find:
- A location map with step-by-step driving directions
- A wayfinding map to guide visitors inside the new building
- Updated hours of operation: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- A phased Department Opening Schedule
- Answers to frequently asked questions
The relocation will occur in stages throughout November 2025:
On November 3rd the Register of Deeds and Commission office will move to the location, followed by the Treasurer, Planning and Zoning and Auditor on November 10th. Equalization will be the last to relocate on Thursday, November 13.
Until their scheduled move dates, all departments will continue operating at 130 Kansas City Street with no disruption in services.
Residents are encouraged to visit the official relocation page to stay informed and plan their visits accordingly. Again, the information can be found at pennco.org.
