False Alarm at Canyon Lake: Headlights Mistaken for Submerged Car

A large law enforcement presence was summoned to Canyon Lake Park Thursday morning following reports of a submerged vehicle. More than a dozen units including RCPD, RCFD and the Highway patrol responded. The initial report was that headlights from a vehicle were possibly seen in the water. Upon investigation, authorities determined the lights were a reflection and not a vehicle in the water.
