The Rapid City Council will hold a special session next Wednesday, Aug. 26, to discuss and potentially give first reading approval to the proposed 2027 city budget.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers and will be open to the public. Residents can also watch the meeting live on the City of Rapid City’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
The proposed 2027 budget is available for public review at www.rcgov.org under the “2027 Proposed City Budget” link in the Community Bookmark section of the homepage.
State law requires municipal budgets to receive two formal readings before final approval by the City Council.
