The Rapid City Council will convene this evening to address a packed agenda including setting a date for the special election concerning the LibertyLand USA Tax Increment Financing.
Other agenda items include a resolution to approve funding for the Robbinsdale Park reconstruction project, aimed at revitalizing recreational spaces in southeast Rapid City. The council will also consider a contract for engineering services related to the city’s water reclamation facility, part of ongoing efforts to modernize wastewater treatment.
The council will also address proposed purchases of new equipment for the Rapid City Fire Department and Police Department. These include updated protective gear and technology enhancements to improve emergency response capabilities.
