Rapid City police arrested 18-year-old Trevor Firstintrouble on October 9 following a late-night patrol in the 300 block of E. Adams Street.
Just before 11 p.m., officers encountered Firstintrouble during an extra patrol in the area. During the interaction, police discovered he was carrying a loaded firearm. When questioned, Firstintrouble stated the weapon did not belong to him. A search of his backpack revealed a second firearm with its serial number filed off, along with a significant quantity of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
Firstintrouble was taken into custody and booked into the Pennington County Jail. He faces charges including Possession of a Controlled Substance, Distribution of a Controlled Substance, Theft of Mislaid Property, and Possession of a Firearm with an Altered Serial Number.
