RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect connected to a gunfire investigation from last week.
Police say multiple shots were heard around 7:40 p.m. on August 21st near 1314 Atlas Street. Investigators believe the shots were fired into the air, and no injuries or property damage have been reported.
Authorities have identified 38-year-old Rodney Spottedelk as a suspect. Police say he was believed to be one of four people inside a gray or silver Chevrolet Impala linked to the incident. The vehicle was discovered abandoned near Concourse Drive the following morning.
