RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City residents on city trash collection routes can once again expect weekly curbside recycling pickup.
The city’s Solid Waste Division announced that weekly recycling collections resumed Monday after operating on an every-other-week schedule since early May.
Officials are reminding residents to place recycling containers at the curb by 7 a.m. on their scheduled collection day and to keep bins at least four feet away from other containers or obstacles to ensure efficient pickup.
City officials encourage residents to review accepted materials and recycling guidelines through the Rapid City Solid Waste Division.
