RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Pete Lien & Sons Shooting Sports Complex has temporarily closed its 1,200-yard long-range shooting facility as construction gets underway on a series of upgrades.
Officials say work began September 1, and the long-range range will remain closed until the project is completed. No timeline has been announced for the work, but the complex says updates will be provided as construction progresses.
The closure only affects the long-range facility. Other areas of the shooting sports complex remain available for use.
Complex officials say the improvements are designed to enhance the shooting experience once the range reopens.
Anyone with questions about the project or facility operations is encouraged to contact the Pete Lien & Sons Shooting Sports Complex during regular business hours.
Officials thank shooters for their patience as the upgrades are completed.
