One Dead In Crash Near Spearfish

An 82-year-old man from Arizona died in a single-vehicle crash in Spearfish, South Dakota. The man was driving north in a construction zone on US Highway 85 when he lost control of his pick-up truck, which was pulling a car on a tow dolly. The truck crossed into the median, causing the vehicles to overturn and separate. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the truck and later died from his injuries at a local hospital. The crash is under investigation by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
