PINE RIDGE, S.D. — The FBI is asking for the public’s help in solving the disappearance and presumed death of Alejandro Pilar Vasquez, a Pine Ridge resident who went missing nearly 11 years ago.
Vasquez, also known as “Tank,” was last seen in 2015 on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. He would now be 35 years old. The FBI’s Minneapolis Field Office is investigating the case as a presumed death and is seeking information about what happened to him.
The agency is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the FBI at (800) CALL-FBI or submit a tip online through the agency’s website.
The case is part of the FBI’s ongoing efforts to investigate unresolved cases involving missing and murdered victims in Indian Country.
