RAPID CITY, S.D. – The City of Rapid City is still looking for residents to fill two openings on its Historic Sign Review Committee.
The vacancies include one position for a person with experience in the sign industry and one citizen-at-large position. The committee reviews and approves sign permits within historic districts and on properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
City officials encourage individuals with backgrounds in historic preservation, architecture, the sign industry, or those who own property or businesses in historic areas to apply.
Applications must be submitted through the city’s Citizen Interest Application process by 5 p.m. on October 9th.
