RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City is inviting emerging visual artists to apply for upcoming exhibition opportunities.
The program, presented by the Rapid City Arts Council, offers artists in the early stages of their careers a chance to gain public exposure through solo or group exhibitions at the Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café and Gallery.
Artists may apply for individual exhibitions showcasing their own work or participate in group exhibits with up to six artists. The opportunity is open to creators working in a wide range of two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums.
Organizers say the program is specifically designed for artists who have not yet held a solo exhibition and are looking to take the next step in their artistic careers. Staff members are also available to provide guidance for artists who are not yet ready to exhibit publicly.
Applications are being accepted through the Dahl Arts Center website, and organizers encourage interested artists to submit an artist statement along with samples of their work. More information is available through the Dahl Arts Center.
