RAPID CITY, S.D. – Drivers in Rapid City should plan for a road closure on Robbins Drive as city crews work to repair a sewer main.
City officials say crews began work this morning on the 400 block of Robbins Drive, with construction scheduled to start at 9 a.m. The affected section of the roadway is closed to through traffic while repairs are underway.
Officials expect the sewer main repair project to be completed by Friday, although motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and use caution near the work zone.
The city is asking drivers to watch for workers, obey posted traffic controls, and allow extra travel time while the repairs are being completed.
