RAPID CITY, S.D. – The search for missing Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe member Jory Low Dog remains active, although ground search operations have been temporarily suspended due to severe winter weather and hazardous road conditions.
In a Monday night update, the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Police Department said investigators continue to follow up on every tip and lead related to the case, even as weather conditions limit field operations.
Authorities thanked the many volunteers who have assisted in the search effort and emphasized that Low Dog has not been forgotten.
Officials are asking anyone with information about Jory Low Dog’s whereabouts to contact Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Police. The investigation remains ongoing as search teams await safer conditions to resume ground operations.
