The Deadwood Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman reported missing out of Texas who may have last been seen in the Deadwood area.
According to a department release, Molly Richards was reported missing in Corinth, Texas, in early December 2025. Investigators say she was believed to have been in downtown Deadwood and was last seen somewhere near Main Street shortly before December 8.
Police did not release additional details about the circumstances of her disappearance but say they are working with authorities in Texas as the search continues.
Anyone with information about Richards’ whereabouts or disappearance is urged to contact the Deadwood Police Department at 605‑578‑2623 and ask for Sergeant Investigator Sally Sprigler.
The department says even small pieces of information may help move the investigation forward.
