Gov. Larry Rhoden says he plans to personally invite former President Donald Trump to the July 3 fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore, noting the state already has a “standing invite” for the event. Rhoden told reporters he and several governors will meet with the President soon, and he hopes to extend the invitation directly.
Trump previously spoke at the Mount Rushmore fireworks celebration in 2020.
