The South Dakota Senate passed a bill requiring public schools to show students a short video on prenatal development.
Sen. Greg Blanc, a Republican from Rapid City says it a science-based curriculum add-on.
HB 1313 requires at least one three-minute video showing prenatal development and limits instructional materials from abortion providers or groups that promote abortion.

The bill passed 31-3 and now heads to the governor.
