Today, Governor Larry Rhoden signed 11 bills into law Wednesday:
- SB 21 modifies tax refunds for elderly persons and persons with a disability;
- SB 25 updates provisions related to the permit application process for proposed energy and transmission facilities;
- SB 165 revises certain provisions pertaining to municipal government;
- HB 1096 allows for the direct creation of a limited liability limited partnership;
- HB 1104 revises the application requirements for special license plates and parking permits for individuals with disabilities;
- HB 1111 modifies the requirements for obtaining an agricultural processor’s lien;
- HB 1119 modifies provisions regarding directors serving on a farm mutual insurer’s board;
- HB 1130 amends permissible uses of a school district’s capital outlay fund;
- HB 1197 revises a provision related to the venue of adoption proceedings;
- HB 1233 modifies provisions for a tax collection agreement with an Indian tribe; and
- HB 1260 authorizes the establishment of municipal property tax rebate programs.
Governor Rhoden has signed 91 bills into law and vetoed one this legislative session.
