Despite less than favorable weather conditions crews were able to hold serve on the Qury Fire south of Custer. At last report, 328 personnel were working the blaze which broke out a week ago and has burned 9,161 acres and remains at 27% containment.
Road closures on Lower French Creek Road from Highway 16A to Highway 87, Hazelrodt, Glen Erin, Flynn Creek, Herbert Draw, Highway 87 from 16A to the north boundary of Wind Cave National Park remain in effect.
