Rapid City Parks and Recreation will open two park restroom facilities on Wednesday as seasonal amenities begin to come online.
Restrooms at the Parkview Tennis Courts and the Sioux Park playground will be available for public use starting April 1. Restroom facilities at Canyon Lake West, Founders Park, and Skyline Wilderness are open year‑round.
All remaining restroom facilities in the city’s park system are scheduled to open the first weekend in May and will remain open through the first weekend in October.
In the meantime, portable restrooms are available at Braeburn Park, Jackson Disc Golf Course, Fulton Trailhead, Robbinsdale Dog Park, and LaCroix Disc Golf Course.
