South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden will make an announcement today aimed at further advancing the state’s tourism industry during a press conference at Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
Rhoden will be joined by Travel South Dakota Secretary Jim Hagen, Mount Rushmore Superintendent Jennifer Carpenter, and representatives from the National Park Service. Details of the announcement have not yet been released, but it is expected to highlight continued growth and promotion of South Dakota tourism.
The press conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. Mountain Time this morning at Mount Rushmore.
