The Rapid City Arts Council has selected Mural On The Wall and local artist Dani Dodge to create two large-scale works as part of a downtown beautification effort.
The project aims to add color and highlight the region’s landscape and community identity. Both murals are expected to be completed by the end of July 2026.
Mural On The Wall, a Vermillion-based collective, focuses on community-driven public art reflecting local voices. Dodge, a multidisciplinary Rapid City artist, said the project offers a chance to create work inspired by the Black Hills.
Updates will be shared through the Dahl Arts Center and the Arts Council’s website.
