Kianna Healy of Hartford was crowned Miss South Dakota 2026 during Saturday night’s competition, earning more than $15,000 in scholarships and awards.
Healy, 23, is a graduate of O’Gorman High School and Pace University, where she studied film and arts entertainment management. Her community service initiative is “The Second Chance Project,” and she performed “I’m a Star” by Scott Alan for the talent competition.
Amelie Wilcox of Rapid City was named first runner-up, followed by Sydney Morgan of Hot Springs, Katie Milbrandt of Brookings and Briley Steffensen of Hartford.
A record 27 contestants competed, with more than $60,000 in scholarships awarded. Healy will represent South Dakota at the Miss America Competition in September.
