The South Dakota Republican Party Convention kicks off today at The Monument in Rapid City, bringing party leaders, delegates, and candidates together for three days of meetings, speeches, and elections.
The convention begins with committee meetings, registration, and a floor session, followed by a social and dinner program.
Events continue through Saturday, when delegates are scheduled to hold a final floor session and elect constitutional officers.
The gathering will feature invited keynote speakers including both gubernatorial candidates and multiple policy and platform discussions, as Republicans from across the state convene to shape party priorities ahead of upcoming elections.
